Description

3M 363 tape is a single sided aluminium glass cloth tape from the scotch tape range of the manufacturer 3M. Of all of 3M’s metallic range, this tape is the one that resists the highest temperature : up to 316°C !

Its glass cloth backing material covered with an aluminium film and its silicone adhesive make it a highly effective product and offer several advantages :

  • It is very conformable, without shape memory : it is important to note that hoses wrapped in this tape keep their flexibility, and it is easy to handle.
     
  • It is very resistant to wear, to tearing and to punctures, which guarantees long-term use.
     
  • Its backing material of reinforced aluminium laminated to glass cloth is flame resistant and has heat and light reflecting properties : it therefore prevents the deformation of plastic components due to heat and it improves visibility by expanding light sources.

This high quality adhesive tape is an indispensable product in several applications where exposure to very high temperatures is significant, such as :
