Description
The 3M 79 single sided glass cloth tape is from the scotch tape range of the manufacturer 3M. It was especially made for optimal use in the electrical industry. The acrylic adhesive it is made of belongs to class F, which gives it temperature resistance up to 155°C continuously and up to 200°C peak temperature.
It meets the standard UL 510, which means it is flame retardant.
Its main advantages are the following :
- Resistant to solvents, to oils and oxidation.
- Cconformable
- Resistant to tearing
- Possibility to write on this glass cloth tape
This tape insulates, protects and maintains electrical elements in the industrial field and in particular for coils and motors, subjected to consequential temperature.
