Description
ADEZIF TV 569 tape is a single sided glass cloth tape whose main advantage is that it can be used in the electrical field at high temperatures.
This tape combines the performance of glass cloth and excellent mechanical resistance and that of its thermosetting silicone adhesive, which gives it very good thermal and adhesive resistance.
It belongs to class H, which allows it to resist temperatures up 300°C peak temperature and 180°C continuously. This feature differentiates it from 3M 27 and 3M 79 glass cloth tapes, which have lower temperature resistance.
It should be noted that the thermosetting silicone adhesive of ADEZIF TV 569 glass cloth tape requires a minimum 3-hour cycle of polymerisation at 260°C (full treatment requires 24 hours at 260°C). The adhesive strength increases significantly during the first half hour at 260°C.
It is a flame retardant, in accordance with the standard UL 510.
This tape is conformable, very resistant to tearing and imprintable.
Its properties make it suitable for holding and wrapping of coil winding at high temperatures, as well as for masking at high temperatures.
