Description
The 3M 27 single sided glass cloth tape is from the scotch tape range of the manufacturer 3M and more particularly the installation and electrical maintenance range.
Its rubber adhesive is thermosetting and should be polymerised at 150°C for one hour or 135°C for 2 hours or 120°C for 3 hours. It belongs to class B (up to 130°C continuously, 175°C peak temperature) and thus has a less qualitative temperature resistance than 3M 79 glass cloth tape. However it is more resistant to abrasion. After polymerisation, this tape is resistant to solvents.
It is possible to write on it.
It guarantees thermally stable insulation and also maintains the electrical components that it protects against fire (standard UL 510).
