What are the characteristics of ADEZIF PT892 ?

ADEZIF PT 892 tape is a single sided translucent blue polyester tape with silicone adhesive.

It is characterised by :

excellent temperature resistance (up to 200°C peak temperature)
good mechanical resistance
durability over time.

It is frequently used for high temperature masking applications with epoxy powder coating, which contains wax-based surface tension agents that are non-stick.

The silicone adhesive allows PT 892 tape to adhere to the surfaces to be painted, perfectly protecting the masked surfaces from all infiltration. It has excellent chemical resistance and can be removed without leaving any residue on the majority of surfaces.

This single sided polyester adhesive tape is also used for high speed splicing that requires good breakdown voltage.

PT 892 tape is also available with a liner.
