What are the characteristics of 3M 850 ?

3M 850 scotch tape, manufactured by the company 3M, is a technical single sided polyester adhesive ideal for splicing. Its powerful acrylic adhesive gives it good temperature resistance and good adhesion on a wide variety of surfaces.

Its polyester backing material is available in 3 colours : Silver, Red and clear. The colour is obtained by pigmentation of the adhesive and therefore the colour will not deteriorate over time and will keep its aesthetic appearance.

3M 850 also has high resistance to moisture, especially appreciable when you want to splice in humid environments.
