Description of ADEZIF PE650 adhesive film

The adhesive surface protection film ADEZIF PE 650 is a translucent red polyethylene tape. It protects sensitive surfaces against any risk of deterioration during the various stages of machining (bending, drilling, profiling, handling, transport, installation, etc...). The surface is protected from dust, dirt or scratches.

This protective film has a medium adhesion and is suitable for the following surfaces:

• pre-painted or epoxy powder coated metal profiles
• smooth or slightly rough metal surfaces
• plastics such as PVC, PMMA...
• lacquered surfaces (acrylic, polyurethane, polyester...) except lacquered PVC 
• decorative panels

Once the film is applied, the surface is temporarily protected for 6 months or 3 months if it is exposed outdoors, before the film is removed.

Its durability and medium adhesion make it suitable for use in industry, automotive contruction, transportation, household appliances and metallurgy.

Before any application, it is important to check that the surface is clean, dry and free of grease or dirt. Please read our page dedicated to surface preparation and cleaning before bonding.

A preliminary test is strongly recommended to validate the choice of the protective film on the final substrate. Two references of film with low adhesion (PE350) or strong adhesion (PE850) are also proposed on the website.
