What are the characteristics of the bumper 3M SJ5003 ?
The 3M SJ 5003 reference is an adhesive bumper made of polyurethane from the BUMPON range of the manufacturer 3M.
Its hemispherical shape is the most common and its rubber adhesive offers immediate and good bonding on all types of surfaces, from high surface energy to low surface energy surfaces, including (Polypropylene PP and Polyethylene PE).
Given its hemispherical shape and its rounded surface contact, it is not recommended to use the SJ 5003 bumper for heavy weights but rather protection wedge for lightweight objects, like for example for electronic payment terminals or POS displays.
However, this shape has an advantage over the others in that it promotes the absorption of noise, vibrations and shocks.
