What are the characteristics of 3M 471 ?

3M 471 scotch tape is a vinyl adhesive used mainly for floor marking, maufactured by the compagny 3M. It is dyed, which gives it good resistance to abrasion, and enables it to resist forklift truck traffic.

It is also used for sealing, splicing and repair applications… Among other things it has good adhesion to vinyl and other plastic surfaces with plasticizer migrations.

The rubber adhesive has good immediate bonding and permanent holding power to mark areas in your workshops and warehouses. Make sure you apply it on a clean and dry surface.
