What are the characteristics of dual lock 3M 3540 ?

Dual lock SJ 3540 is a self-gripping product from the Dual Lock type 250 range (39 stems per cm²) manufactured by the company 3M. Its rubber adhesive gives it excellent adhesion on difficult-to-stick surfaces, such as polyethylene or polypropylene (without applying primer beforehand) as well as surfaces with high and medium surface energy. For surfaces such as powder coating, primer should be applied beforehand.

This Dual lock reference should mainly be used for interior or temporary applications.

For use on highly plasticized surfaces, it may be necessary to choose reference SJ 3550 or SJ 3560, which would be more suitable.
