What are the characteristics of TESA ACX+ 7063 ?
TESA ACX PLUS 7063 tape is a double-sided viscoelastic acrylic foam adhesive tape from the TESA ACX PLUS range of the manufacturer TESA.
This line of tape has the distinction of being able to become distorted by absorbing the forces applied on the surface and very quickly resuming its original shape.
The TESA ACX PLUS 7063 is composed of 100 % black acrylic foam whose specific formulation offers excellent immediate bonding combined with good resistance against plasticizer migration. This double sided tape can bond to the majority of substrates, including those which are difficult to bond such PVC or vinyl.
This double-sided tape is also capable of absorbing thermal elongation of materials without affecting the assembly. However, some plastics have high degrees of thermal elongation, which can vary, and it may be necessary to adjust the thickness of the tape.
This tape is also available in 1.2 mm thick and 1.5 mm thick under references Tesa ACX plus 7065 (1.2 mm thick) and Tesa ACX plus 7066 (15 mm thick).
