What are the characteristics of TESA ACX+ 7054 ?
TESA ACX PLUS 7054 tape is a double-sided viscoelastic acrylique foam adhesive tape from TESA ACX PLUS range of the manufacturer TESA.
Its 100 % acrylic foam adhesive is clear and UV and solvent resistant. Because of its transparency, it is widely used for fixing all clear or translucent material where the final appearance is important.
This double-sided tape can be fixed to glass, plastic and metal.
Its paper liner is easy to remove especially in long straight lines. However, be careful during installation to avoid the appearance of air bubbles.
This product is also available in a 1 mm-thick version under reference Tesa ACX plus 7055.
This clear adhesive tape is used in a number of applications such as :
- invisible bonding of translucent plates on metal frames
- fixing glass facades on furniture doors or fridges
- fixing glass elements in shower stalls
