What are the characteristics of TESA 62936 ?

TESA 62936 tape is a double-sided adhesive tape with polyethylene (PE) foam backing material manufactured by TESA. Its foam backing material is of medium density, composed of closed cell foam, which has excellent cold shock absorption.

Its acrylic adhesive has strong tack, which allows it to bond to a large number of high energy surfaces, to compensate for possible tension on the assembly and to avoid welding or drilling.
Its foam backing material is conformable, and UV, water and age resistant.

Here are some possible applications :

• sticking smoke detectors when drilling is not possible, for example in case of the presence of asbestos (refer to current standards on the subject).
• sticking rubber profiles to protect store refrigerators.
• for mirrors or coloured glass panels.
