What are the characteristics of 3M 4026 ?
3M 4026 scotch tape is a double-sided open-cell foam polyurethane adhesive manufactured by 3M. The open cells enable the passage of air, gas or moisture and are intended for indoor use.
The A20 acrylic adhesive has excellent temperature resistance and good resistance to solvents. The 4026 foam tape is also a foam that has good static for bonding products vertically.
During prolonged sun exposure, the colour of the polyurethane foam changes from white to yellow. This change of colour is normal and does not affect the foam’s performance.
This 3M foam is available in different thicknesses : 0.8 mm (reference 4032) – 1.6 mm (reference 4026) – 3.2 mm (reference 4008).
