      Compatible adhesive tapes with the ZCM1000

The ZCM1000 is an automatic dispenser compatible with the following adhesives:

• Single-sided: such as PVC tapes, kraft paper tapes, cloth tapes, aluminum tapes, etc.

• Double-sided: such as polyester (commonly used reference: 3M 9088 or Adezif PT965) or non-woven (e.g., Adezif NT340).

It features three hubs accommodating cores of 76 mm, 35 mm, or 25 mm.

The ZCM1000 accepts adhesive tape rolls up to 180 mm wide. For use with larger diameter rolls, employ the TDSTAND03 external support, an accessory for the automatic dispenser suitable for cutting large rolls.

Caution:

This device is not compatible with VHB tapes and 100% acrylic foam adhesives. For cutting foam adhesive tapes, prefer the RT7000 automatic dispenser.

      How to use the ZCM1000 automatic tape dispenser

Automatic mode

1. Plug in the power cord. Set the ON/OFF switch to ON (the display shows 20).

2. Place the roll in its position and adhere the tape to the top of the drive roller. Press the ADVANCE button (down arrow) until the tape comes out the front of the cassette.

3. Grasp the tape and gently pull it (if the tape has not loaded correctly, fold the tape halfway or into a triangle shape, then adhere it to the drive roller and repeat the procedure). Press the CUT button (scissors) to cut the end of the tape.

4. Set the cut length by pressing the CM or MM buttons. Adjust the pressure on the tape with the pressure button: usually set to S, unless the tape loops, then switch it to H.

5. Once all adjustments are made, press the AUTO button. As soon as the first cut tape is grasped, it releases another of the same size, thanks to a photoelectric cell detection.

Semi-automatic mode

1. Plug in the power cord. Set the ON/OFF switch to OFF. By pressing the AUTO button, the device produces a piece of tape of the displayed length and cuts it. This operation repeats with each button press.

2. When using a long length, hold the end of the tape during its exit.

In unrolling mode

1. Press the ADVANCE button until the tape comes out and cut it with the CUT button.

Changing the roll

• Press the REVERSE button (up arrow) to remove the tape and the roll.

In case of jamming

• In the event of a jam, press the REVERSE button to remove the tape. Then remove the cutting unit and check that no tape has stuck to the blades or rollers.

      ZCM1000 cleaning and safety precautions

The ZCM1000 automatic tape dispenser features a high-performance cutting system with sharp blades. To ensure safe operation:

• Never insert your fingers into the cutting unit.

• All maintenance or disassembly should only be performed by qualified personnel.

Regular maintenance

• Clean the unit using a dry cloth only – do not use detergents or aerosols.

• Check the condition of the blades regularly. If adhesive residue builds up, clean them carefully with silicone oil, avoiding any contact with the cutting edge.

Storage

• If the machine will not be used for an extended period, make sure to remove the tape from the rollers by pressing the reverse button.

In case of jamming

• Do not use a utility knife to clear the tape slot.

• Never insert tools into the blade holder block, as this may damage the silicone drive rollers (these parts are replaceable and available on request from ADEZIF).
