What are the characteristics of 3M 895 ?

3M 895 adhesive tape is a product from the Scotch Pro range of the company 3M which is composed of reinforced polypropylene glass filament backing material only lengthwise (also called reinforced broadcloth adhesive).

Its main feature is that it has very good mechanical tensile strength (53 kg/cm : more than 3M 8953 glass yarn that has tensile strength of 25 kg/cm).

Its synthetic rubber adhesive is aggressive and particularly suitable for making “L” tabs for closing light to heavyweight cardboard boxes. It has effective long-term holding power.

The initial bonding is good at 7°C and it is possible to use it during freezing or deep-freezing.

3M 895 filament tape therefore offers a reliable solution for a wide variety of packaging applications.
