What are the characteristics of VELCRO PS18 ?
Velcro PS 18 self-bonding tape is a product made by the brand VELCRO that has an acrylic-type adhesive (unlike Velcro PS 14 that has a rubber adhesive).
This tape is UV resistant and resists well against humidity and strong temperatures. It was designed for bonding durably on surfaces containing plasticizers such as PVC tarpaulins or on vinyl.
A PVC tarpaulin is very solid, tear-resistant and is used for all types of work, including in severe weather conditions : Velcro PS 18 tape enables the easy and fast creation of hems on PVC tarpaulins in a durable manner that requires no maintenance.
Velcro PS18 tape is also suitable for surfaces such as metal, glass, cloth but it is not recommended that you apply self-bonding Velcro bands on low surface energy plastics such as polyethylene and polypropylene.
Like all the products from the VELCRO range offered on the site, it is possible to buy this product in die-cut pad form, as well as a wide range of colours depending on the quantity ordered.
